First Clan Gathering of the New
Year 2012
6:00 pm
Church of the Savior - 5600 NW 63rd St., OKC
U.S.C.O. always welcomes
your entire family to our monthly gatherings.
If
it has been a while since you've been to one of our Clan Gatherings,
please come and have a good time visiting with your Celtic friends.
Our
Clan Gathering is a Pot-Luck Dinner event,
so bring your favorite dish
and/or dessert and bring along your family and friends.
Our
goal is to help all members and non-members in their Celtic heritage
quest and ancestral research and to promote our Celtic Culture in
Oklahoma.
If you need help
researching your genealogy, bring your questions
to the meeting and let us help you with your research.
Come enjoy
the first Clan Gathering of the 2012 with
good friends, warm fellowship and great food.

The Oklahoma
Original Bricktown Brewery - Bricktown,
OKC
United Scottish
Clans of Oklahoma have teamed up to bring
The "Burns Night" Celebration & the "Burns
Ball" To OKC.
A Meet / Greet & Sign-In will start at 5:30 pm
Then
the traditional U.S.C.O. "Burns Night" Celebration
to start at 6:00 pm.
Then Bricktown Brewery will host an upbeat "Burns Ball"
starting around 8:00 pm.
Ticket prices until Jan. 14th,
Members $25 - Non-Members
$35
6 - 12 years $10 - Under 6
Free Tickets will be higher at the door,
however, RSVP is necessary based on available seating.

The Burns Ball will be free
to everyone who comes to the Burns Night Supper
and only $5 for anyone
coming just for the Burns Ball at 8pm.

Iron Thistle Scottish
Festival & Highland Games 2012
will again be held at
the Kirkpatrick Family Farm in Yukon, OK.
New
Date:
April
27, 28 & 29, 2012
 
(Our gratitude to the
Kirkpatrick Family and the City of Yukon for allowing U.S.C.O. to move
the regular March festival date to April. We believe moving the
date forward one month will allow for much improved weather conditions
for our vendors, clans, athletes and entertainers. Everyone
planning to participate in the 2012 Iron Thistle Festival can now begin
contacting U.S.C.O. for information and registration forms.
